About Investigations
Investigations are our in-depth, evidence-based stories: corruption, money trails, power networks, public contracts and land deals that took real digging to uncover. Every one of them follows the same path, set out in our investigation methodology: tip, verification, evidence, investigation, publication, correction or update.
What makes a Power Lens investigation
- Evidence-led. Every finding is tied to a document, a dataset or verified testimony. See our methodology.
- Fair. The people and institutions involved are given a right of reply before we publish.
- Labelled. We separate verified fact, allegation, court finding and claim, so readers can see exactly what is known.
Where investigations start
