What a profile contains

Where the information is available, a politician's profile brings together their assets and interests, their political connections, their voting record, their public statements and any cases or controversies associated with them.

How we label information

• Verified fact: confirmed by evidence we have checked.
• Allegation: an accusation that has not been proven or tested by a court.
• Court finding: a decision by a court or tribunal, with the court and date recorded.
• Claim: a statement by the person or another party that we have not verified.
