Funding Transparency

Where Power Lens's money comes from and how it is spent.

A watchdog should be watched too. This page shows who funds Power Lens and how the money is used, so that readers can judge for themselves whether our work is independent.

What we publish

  • our sources of funding
  • our donors, where the law and safety allow us to name them
  • grants and institutional partners
  • how our money is spent, by category
  • our annual financial reports
  • our conflict of interest and donor policies

Rules that protect our independence

Funders have no say over what we investigate or publish, and we do not accept money with conditions on our findings. Read our donor policy and editorial independence policy.
