Complaints Policy
How to complain about Power Lens's work or conduct, and what we do with your complaint.
We want to hear when we have got something wrong. Anyone can complain, whether you are named in our work, read it, or are affected by it.
What you can complain about
- Accuracy: a factual error, a misleading headline, image or caption.
- Fairness: you were not given a fair chance to respond, or your response was not reported fairly.
- Privacy and safety: we published information about you that should not have been published.
- Conduct: the behaviour of someone working with Power Lens. Concerns about harassment, abuse or exploitation are handled under our safeguarding policy.
- Independence: you believe an interest or outside pressure influenced our work.
How to complain

- We do not change the work, and we explain why.
If you are not satisfied
You can ask for a review by [TO ADD: a person or body that was not involved, for example a board member or independent reviewer]. They will look at how we handled the complaint and whether the outcome was fair.
